College Advising Service was a dream come true in 1997.

As a son of hearing impaired parents, Mark Doucette learned that his parents did not receive a fair and equitable education. They never complained about their impairment, but rather focused on faith, family and the things they did have in life.

Mark’s desire to assist students with the many facets of education developed as a result of his first language, Sign Language and classroom teaching. As a former classroom teacher, Mark assisted multicultural and diverse students and parents with completing the entire college application process. Whether visiting college campuses throughout New England, delivering SAT strategies & practice tests or submitting all essays and applications to meet Early Decision, Early Action or Regular Admissions, our goal is to find the Right Fit for your student to be successful in college.

In addition to teaching, Mark has served education roles as an Associate Director of Admissions at Lesley University, Sales Advisor for such companies as Promethean, Learning Ally, Knovation and Turnitin and current Chair of a local school scholarship committee. This level of expertise allows College Advising Service to provide high-quality support with unique and innovative perspectives to meet the needs of all students seeking admission to college.

We offer a full range of individually designed services for students in grades 7-12. Families are able to select the services that best fit their student’s needs throughout high school.
